About This Workshop

Living with chronic stress, anxiety, and emotional overwhelm can feel like your nervous system is working overtime — often without you even realizing it.

This workshop helps you understand why that’s happening and gives you simple, body-based tools to begin shifting it.

You’ll learn practical ways to regulate your nervous system, feel more grounded, and reconnect with your body — even if you already understand your anxiety mentally but don’t yet know how to work with it physically.

You’ll leave with tools you can use the same day — gentle, evidence-based, and designed for real life.

WHO THIS WORKSHOP IS FOR

Is This Workshop Right for You?

This workshop is for you if anxiety, stress, or emotional overwhelm feel like a constant background noise — and you’re ready to learn how to work with your nervous system, not against it.

You don’t have to figure this out alone — and you don’t have to push through it anymore.

You feel anxious or overwhelmed — even when things are "fine"

If stress and tension feel like your baseline, this workshop offers a gentle entry point into understanding why — and what to do about it.

You want tools that work in your body, not just your mind

You may have tried journaling or positive thinking. This workshop works at the level where anxiety actually lives — your nervous system.

You're curious about somatic or mind-body approaches

No experience needed. This is an accessible, trauma-informed introduction to body-based healing — welcoming for beginners and those already in therapy.

You're a therapist or helper seeking somatic tools

Clinicians and mental health professionals are warmly welcome. The practices taught here can be adapted for use with clients.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

Practical Tools You Can Use the Same Day

Simple, practical tools you can begin using immediately — no prior experience needed.

WHAT MAKES THIS WORKSHOP DIFFERENT

This Workshop Is Not Just Information — It's an Experience

Trauma-Informed From the Start

Nothing is forced or pushed. You'll be invited, not instructed. Every practice is optional — you're always in control of your own experience. This is what trauma-informed care actually looks like in practice.

You'll Actually Feel Something

Rather than just talking about somatic work, you'll be guided through it. By the end of 30 minutes you'll have experienced a real, body-based shift — not just learned about the concept of one.

Built for Busy, Real Lives

These tools don't require 45 minutes of silence or a yoga mat. They're practical and portable — designed for the moments anxiety actually hits — at your desk, in your car, in the middle of a hard day.

Clinically Grounded

Facilitated by a licensed therapist who works daily with clients experiencing anxiety, overwhelm, and nervous system dysregulation — expertise and genuine warmth combined.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Questions About This Workshop

How do I know if this is the right next step for me?

If you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck in your head, or unsure how to regulate your emotions in the moment, this workshop is a supportive place to begin. If you're looking for deeper, ongoing support, this can also be a meaningful first step before therapy or group work.

What is this workshop actually like?

This is a guided, experiential workshop — not just information. You'll be gently led through simple practices to help you notice, understand, and begin regulating your nervous system in real time. There's space to reflect, pause, and integrate — without pressure to share or perform.

How long is the workshop?

This is a 30-minute workshop held live via Zoom. It includes a brief introduction, a guided somatic practice, and time for questions at the end.

Is it really free?

Yes — completely free. There is no cost to attend and no upsell at the end. This is Kula Wellness Group's way of offering accessible mental wellness education to our community in Georgia and beyond.

What happens after I register?

After registering you'll receive a confirmation email right away. Your Zoom link will be sent at least 24 hours before the workshop begins.

What if I miss the live workshop?

We encourage attending live for the full experience, but a recording will be sent to all registrants within a few days after the workshop takes place.

What if I sign up and feel nervous or unsure?

That's completely normal. Many people come in feeling unsure — this space is designed to be welcoming, low-pressure, and supportive from the moment you join. You never have to share, speak, or be on camera if you don't want to.

Is this appropriate if I'm dealing with trauma?

This workshop is trauma-informed and designed to be gentle and accessible. However, it is not a substitute for individual therapy. If you are currently navigating intense or acute trauma, individual support may be more appropriate — and we're happy to help guide you toward the right fit.

Is this therapy?

No. This is a psychoeducational workshop — educational and experiential, not clinical therapy. It's a wonderful complement to individual or group therapy, but it does not replace it. If you're interested in working with a Kula therapist, we'd love to connect with you after the workshop.

I want to go deeper — what are my next steps?

We'd love to support you further! You can book a free 15-minute consultation, explore our group therapy options, or reach out via our contact page to find the best fit for you.

Do you offer scholarships?

Yes — Kula Wellness Group offers a scholarship program for those who need financial support to access our services. Learn more here.

I have more questions — how can I reach you?

Reach us anytime at info@kulawellnessgroup.com, by phone at (770) 750-4001, or through our contact page.
