Find your fit
You don't have to have it all figured out to join a group.
You feel stuck in anxiety, overthinking, or emotional ups and downs — and it’s hard to regulate on your own.
The same relationship dynamics, reactions, or struggles keep showing up — even when you try to do things differently.
You’ve done (or are doing) individual work, but want a space to practice connection, communication, or real-time support.
Whether it’s grief, life transitions, identity exploration, or stress — you don’t want to carry it alone anymore.
You’re looking for connection, shared experience, and a space where you don’t have to explain everything.
You want to better understand yourself, your relationships, and how to move through life with more clarity and intention.
current groups
All groups are therapist-led, virtual, and available to Georgia residents. Spots are limited — groups run in 8–12 week cycles with rolling enrollment.
grief & loss
A space to grieve without having to explain yourself. Process loss alongside others who understand — with nervous system support built into every session.
emotional wellness
For adults ready to understand and shift their emotional patterns. Move from reacting to responding — using body-based tools rooted in nervous system science.
Living with unpredictable health is exhausting — especially when you look fine on the outside. This group provides somatic tools and community for the invisible load you’re carrying.
Many men were never taught how to understand or work with their emotions. This group is a space to build those skills in a way that feels practical, grounded, and actually usable in real life.
LGBTQIA+ RELATIONSHIP SUPPORT
Relationships can feel harder when identity, communication, and outside stress all show up at the same table. This group helps you understand patterns, improve connection, and build healthier relationships that feel safe, supportive, and sustainable.
What to expect
Group therapy can feel unfamiliar at first. Here’s what you can expect — and how we create a space that feels safe, supportive, and genuinely helpful.
Not at all. You’re always in choice. You can listen, observe, and take things in at your own pace — and still benefit. We prioritize safety and consent, so nothing is ever forced or expected.
Sometimes, yes — and that’s completely normal. Our facilitators create a grounded, welcoming space from the very beginning. Most people settle in more quickly than they expect.
Both. Each session has a clear intention and gentle structure, while still allowing space for what’s naturally unfolding in the group. You’ll feel guided, not controlled.
That’s often the best combination. Group therapy adds a relational layer — giving you a place to practice, connect, and integrate what you’re working on individually.
Our groups are facilitated by licensed therapists using clinically grounded, mind-body approaches. This isn’t just sharing — it’s guided, intentional work that supports real change.
Pricing varies by group. While we don’t accept insurance, some clients may request a superbill and limited scholarships may be available. We’re happy to walk you through your options during a consultation — no pressure, just clarity.
Why group therapy works
Group therapy isn't a compromise — it's often the most powerful form of healing available. When you experience something painful, your nervous system learns it in isolation. Group work helps you relearn safety, attunement, and connection in relationship — which is where most of us got hurt in the first place.
Research consistently shows that group therapy is as effective as individual therapy for many concerns — and for some, it's more effective. The combination of therapeutic support and community can accelerate healing in ways one-on-one work can't replicate.
At Kula, we add a somatic and trauma-informed layer to every group. That means you're not just gaining insight — you're building new nervous system capacity in real time, alongside others who understand.
Most wounds happened in connection with others. Healing often needs to happen there too — safely, with support.
Witnessing others' patterns and healing illuminates your own in ways individual therapy can't replicate.
The isolation of struggling quietly lifts when you find a room full of people who understand without needing an explanation.
Group is a live laboratory for new ways of relating — immediately transferable to your real life.
All Kula groups are facilitated by licensed therapists with deep expertise in trauma-informed, somatic, and experiential approaches.
