Most people think self-care means taking a break or treating yourself. But if you still feel overwhelmed, irritated, or exhausted afterward, it’s often because your deeper needs aren’t being addressed.
This workshop will show you how to actually understand what your emotions are asking for — and how to respond in a way that creates real relief.
A recording will be sent to all registrants.
Clinician-led • Trauma-informed • Mind-body approach • No experience needed • Recording included
This workshop draws from principles used in therapy, including emotional regulation, nervous system awareness, and self-compassion practices.
Most people think self-care means taking a break or treating yourself. But if you still feel overwhelmed, irritated, or exhausted afterward, it’s often because your deeper needs aren’t being addressed.
This free mind-body workshop is design to go deeper. Led by Ally Sachs, NCC at Kula Wellness Group, you’ll learn to recognize your emotions as messengers – signals from your nervous system pointing to clarify what you actually need in the moment, and explore how to respond with interntional, compassionate care.
Whether you’re feeling pushed to your limit or simply curious about building a more honest relationship with your inner world, this workshop offers a grounded, accessible place to start. Open to adults across Georgia and Nationwide.
WHO THIS WORKSHOP IS FOR
This workshop is especially helpful if you’ve tried to “take care of yourself” and it still doesn’t seem to help.
You don’t have to figure this out alone — and you don’t have to keep pushing through.
You feel burned out, depleted, or constantly “on”
You keep going, even when you're exhausted — and “self-care” just feels like one more thing to manage instead of something that actually helps.
You don’t know what you actually need
When someone asks “what do you need right now?” your mind goes blank — or everything feels like too much. This workshop gives you a clear way to figure it out.
You want to understand your emotions — not just manage them
You’re tired of coping tools that only get you through the moment. You want to understand what your stress, irritation, or overwhelm are actually trying to tell you.
You’re harder on yourself than you are on others
You show up for everyone else — but when it comes to yourself, it’s criticism, pressure, or pushing through. This workshop helps you shift that pattern with real compassion.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
Simple, practical tools you can begin using immediately — no prior experience needed.
WHAT MAKES THIS WORKSHOP DIFFERENT
Goes Beyond the Surface
This isn't about bubble baths or treating yourself. We go to the root — helping you understand what your nervous system is asking for and how to actually give it what it needs.
You'll Actually Practice It
This is a guided, experiential session — not a lecture. You'll work through a structured reflection in real time and leave with something you can immediately apply.
Trauma-Informed & Gentle
Everything is offered as an invitation. Nothing is forced. You're always in control of your experience — this space is designed to feel safe, not pressured.
Clinically Grounded
Facilitated by a licensed therapist who works daily with clients navigating burnout, emotional overwhelm, and self-compassion — warmth and expertise combined.

This is a guided, experiential 30-minute session — not a lecture. You'll be led through a structured reflection to help you identify what you're feeling, what it's signaling, and how to respond with compassion. There's no pressure to share or perform.
No. This workshop goes beyond tips and tricks. Rather than telling you to take a bath or go for a walk, we help you understand what your emotions are actually communicating — and practice a body-based way of responding that creates real, lasting relief.
That's completely normal — and honestly it makes a lot of sense. This space is designed to be gentle, welcoming, and low-pressure from the moment you join. You never have to share, speak, or be on camera.
Yes — completely free. No cost. This is Kula Wellness Group's way of making accessible emotional wellness education available to our community in Georgia and beyond.
You'll receive a confirmation email right away. Your Zoom link will be sent at least 24 hours before the workshop begins. A recording will also be sent to all registrants within a few days of the live session.
This workshop is trauma-informed and designed to be gentle and accessible. It is not a substitute for individual therapy. If you're currently navigating intense or acute trauma, individual support may be more appropriate — and we're happy to help guide you toward the right fit.
No — this is not therapy. This is a guided, psychoeducational workshop designed to help you understand your emotions, nervous system, and needs in a practical, supportive way. It can be a meaningful complement to therapy — or a gentle place to start if you're not quite ready for that level of support.
