Name It to Tame It: Emotional Clarity for Men is a virtual workshop designed to help men develop a clearer, more regulated relationship with their emotions. Facilitated by Asher Burk, NCC, this session offers a supportive space to move beyond the pressure to simply “power through” and instead build practical skills for understanding and managing the internal stress many men carry.

 

Participants will explore how the nervous system influences emotional responses and learn straightforward tools for identifying, naming, and regulating what they feel. The workshop focuses on actionable strategies that help men develop greater self-awareness, reduce reactivity, and create a stronger sense of internal stability.

 

This session is ideal for men who struggle to recognize what they are feeling until stress builds up or who often feel on edge or emotionally shut down. By the end of the workshop, participants will leave with practical tools to support emotional clarity, resilience, and a more grounded connection to themselves.

MEET YOUR PRESENTER

Asher Burk, NCC, is a psychotherapist at Kula Wellness Group with over 16 years of experience supporting individuals through trauma, stress, grief, and life transitions. He holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Agnes Scott College and takes a grounded, practical approach to helping people build emotional clarity, resilience, and a stronger connection to themselves.
