A 12-week therapist-led process group for LGBTQIA+ individuals ready to strengthen relational patterns, deepen connection, and build healthier relationships — whether dating, partnered, or exploring.
This isn’t just about relationships — it’s about understanding the patterns that keep showing up, and learning how to shift them.
Trauma-Informed & Mind-Body Aware • Small, Intentional Group Setting • Led By a Psychotherapist • Designed for Real-Life Coping
A relationship process group is a therapist-led space where you explore your real-life relational patterns in real time.
Instead of only talking about relationships, you begin to see how you show up in connection — and practice new ways of relating with support and guidance.
"Finally — a safe space to discuss what you have been experiencing."
This is a process-oriented, therapist-led group — not just a space to talk, but a space to understand your patterns and actively practice new ways of relating.
We recognize that LGBTQIA+ relationships often sit at a table with an “extra seat”: systemic oppression. This group helps ensure those external stressors don’t become internal relationship fractures.
Structured, but flexible enough to meet you where you are. Over 12 weeks, we move through themes that help you navigate communication and relationship patterns you have been holding.
WHO THIS GROUP IS FOR
This group is designed for LGBTQIA+ adults in Georgia who want to better understand themselves in relationships and build healthier patterns.
This group may be a good fit if you:
You find yourself repeating patterns in dating or relationships
You want to improve communication, connection, or emotional intimacy
You feel your identity impacts how you experience relationships
You want to understand your attachment style and relational dynamics
You’re looking for a structured, therapist-guided space (not just support)
WHAT YOU’LL EXPERIENCE
Over the course of the group, you’ll begin to:
Many participants find that this becomes a space where they can exhale, feel understood, and stop carrying it all alone.
External stressors like stigma, invisibility, or past experiences can quietly shape how we show up with others.
Without support, those patterns can repeat — even when we want something different.
So your relationships can feel more secure, intentional, and aligned.

No — you are always in control of what you share and how much. Participation is encouraged and gently supported, but never required.
Life happens. We ask that you let your facilitator know in advance when possible — the group notices when someone is absent, and your facilitator will help you stay connected to the process.
We do not bill insurance directly for group therapy. However, some clients may be eligible for reimbursement using a superbill. In certain cases, we may be able to support this process by collaborating with your individual therapist. With your written consent (via a signed Release of Information), your individual therapist and the group facilitator may consult to confirm a working diagnosis and ensure the group aligns with your treatment goals. If clinically appropriate, this diagnosis may be used for superbill documentation. This option is not commonly used and is only pursued when it clearly supports your care and treatment plan. We’re happy to talk through your options during a consultation.
If your relationship or relationship patterns are affecting your emotional well-being, your relationship, or your ability to feel steady in daily life, this group may be a meaningful next step. You do not need to have it all figured out — just a sense that you want more support and practical tools.
Because this is a closed group, we don't add new participants once it begins. This protects the safety and continuity of everyone in the room.
Schedule a consultation. We'll take time to understand where you are and help you determine whether this group is the right fit.
